Mirror Mountain Film Festival will be re-opening for submissions again in the spring of 2026, with films accepted via FilmFreeway, FilmFest Platform, Festhome and Click for Festivals. We’re always on the lookout for diverse, unconventional and innovative expressions from the world's most unique creative minds, so get ready to submit your work and share your vision with us!

We're thrilled to finally reveal our complete schedule of film programming for our 7th edition, happening the weekend of September 5 - 7 at ODD Box in Arts Court! 48 original films from some of the world’s most unique creative minds, including groundbreaking independent dramas and documentaries, alternative animation and experimental works, and an innovative interactive 360° video experience! We're thrilled to finally reveal our complete schedule of film programming for our 7th edition, happening the weekend of September 5 - 7 at ODD Box in Arts Court! 48 original films from some of the world’s most unique creative minds, including groundbreaking independent dramas and documentaries, alternative animation and experimental works, and an innovative interactive 360° video experience! We will be kicking off this year’s festival on Friday September 5 with the Ottawa premiere of the feature-length documentary A QUEER'S GUIDE TO SPIRITUAL LIVING, with directors A.C. Birch & Michal Heuston in attendance, followed immediately by a big screen karaoke party with fabulous prizes donated by our sponsors. It's going to be amazing - so come join in the fun!
