Announcing our 2021 festival dates

We are excited to announce that Mirror Mountain Film Festival will be back this July 24th – 25th 2021 for our 5th edition! For safety reasons, our 2021 festival will be held online, instead of at our usual location at Arts Court. We look forward to celebrating the best in independent and alternative cinema with you all in July. In the meantime, watch this space, because we’ll be opening for film submissions very soon!

Technical director Kenneth Warner has selected NORTHERN LOWLAND by Klaus Welp as his top pick this year. This surreal and kinetic music video follows three mysterious characters travelling through the empty streets of Helsinki in winter. Nominated for our Best Director award! See the Ottawa premiere in INTERNATIONAL SELECTIONS on Sat. July 27th @ 2pm at Arts Court Theatre, co-presented by Carleton University Art Gallery.
