Announcing our full 2023 festival lineup!

Mirror Mountain is overjoyed to reveal our complete schedule of film programming for the weekend of July 21 – 23.

Experience original films from the world’s most unique creative minds, from groundbreaking independent dramas and documentaries, to alternative animation and experimental works, to innovative live performance and interactive media.

We are proudly showcasing 17 short films by local filmmakers in this edition, and kicking off this year’s festival with a special, one-of-a-kind live performance collaboration by Ottawa-based Oji-Cree First Nations musician Jakean and local video artist Annie Socoria.

We are also thrilled to be presenting 2 programs back-to-back on Saturday July 22 that shine a spotlight on the queer community: a retrospective of 2SLGBTQIA+ short films from the festival’s history, and the Ontario premiere of the feature-length Acadian musical documentary Y A UNE ÉTOILE (THERE’S A STAR), with director Julien Cadieux in attendance.

It’s more than a festival. It’s a state of mind.
